Good Samaritan Hospital Honored by President of Dominican Republic

The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader Corona, publicly thanked the Good Samaritan Hospital for their nationwide efforts to help the most vulnerable. This special recognition event, held in the city of San Francisco de Macoris, included Good Samaritan Hospital Administrative Director Moises Sifren, Financial Manager Leslie de la Rosa, and Medical Director Dr. Franklin Bido.

President Abinader thanked the Good Samaritan Hospital and their international partners for the millions of US dollars worth of medicine, wheelchairs, and supplies distributed throughout the DR to help those most in need. These donations, distributed to the people of the Dominican Republic in 20 different cities, were possible due to the US and international partnerships developed by the Good Samaritan Hospital since its inception in 1997.

In December, President Abinader plans to visit the Good Samaritan Hospital in La Romana and learn more about the mission and work taking place at the hospital.
