Two $500 scholarships available to Wallingford teenagers and students for this summer's DR Mission Team trips
All Wallingford teenagers (ages 15-19 by July 1, 2025) and students are encouraged to apply for the "Ken Sause Wallingford Rotary Scholarships" that will support town teens and students traveling to La Romana, DR, this summer with the Dominican Republic Mission Team.
There are two $500 scholarships available, and the deadline for submission is March 15, 2025. The scholarships will go towards teenagers serving in the DR with the Dominican Republic Mission Team during their summer volunteer trips - three separate weeks between June 27 and July 19.
Who is eligible for the scholarship?
• teenagers 15 - 19 years old by June 1, 2025.
• primary residence must be Wallingford, Connecticut, or a full-time student in Wallingford.
• teens willing to be part of a mission work group.
• previous winners are eligible, but preference will be given to those who have not won before.
